For Every Step Forward

The mission of Limb Care Foundation is to promote multidisciplinary approaches to limb salvage, function, and patient quality of life through relevant & meaningful education, advocacy, and outreach.

Officially founded in 2019, the idea for this approach to healthcare addressing the needs of individuals who have had, or are at risk for, limb amputation started in 2008. The founders of the organization, all friends from college, knew that they would each be pursuing careers in different branches of the healthcare field. Discussions on what life as professional providers would be like grew into brainstorming sessions on how they could bring their respective fields together to benefit the most people. As time went on the brainstorming sessions evolved into road-mapping a path towards making their ideas a reality.

After completing all the necessary schooling and license exams, gaining experience as independent practitioners, and continuing to refine ideas to help the public, Limb Care Foundation was created. Initially combining the expertise and skillsets of podiatry, orthotics/prosthetics, and physical therapy, Limb Care Foundation has made it our mission to address education, prevention, treatment, and returning to maximized quality of life for individuals that need help.
